Concerns about the country’s direction on economic issues and the growing national debt led to Kelly Ayotte’s bid for the U.S. Senate, she told The Sentinel’s editorial board Tuesday afternoon.

MANCHESTER, NH – Ayotte for Senate today announced its latest television commercial – a 30-second spot entitled “My Family.” The ad is set to run on statewide broadcast.

LIBERAL BILL Binnie has spent millions trying to buy one of New Hampshire’s seats in the U.S. Senate. But with his campaign down in the polls, Binnie appears to have decided that his only hope is to use a registered lobbyist to make false accusations against conservative Kelly Ayotte.

“The road to victory leads straight through Rockingham County. I’ve been campaigning hard there since I got into this race, talking about my plans to stop wasteful Washington spending,” said Kelly Ayotte, of Nashua, the state’s former Attorney General. “Grassroots support is what will make the difference in this election. I’m honored to have the strong support of many prominent Rockingham County leaders, and I will be counting on this team to help turn the vote out on September 14.”

Kelly Ayotte’s U.S. Senate campaign today announced its statewide “Sportsmen for Kelly” coalition, with prominent gun owners and outdoorsmen from across New Hampshire. With over 100 members, the group is working on a person-to-person basis to highlight Kelly Ayotte’s strong record of standing up for Second Amendment rights.

Continuing to run an issues-based campaign, Ayotte for Senate today announced its latest radio ad – “Millions.” The spot uses an audio recording of Bill Binnie stating his opposition to the Arizona immigration law, and details Binnie’s liberal positions on taxes and bailouts.

Continuing a pattern of making false accusations, Bill Binnie has launched a fourth false attack ad against Kelly Ayotte. Binnie’s latest spot, which features registered lobbyist Bob Clegg, is factually incorrect from start to finish. Clegg’s clients include the state employees union and trial lawyers.

In an attempt to hide from his own liberal positions, Bill Binnie launched negative false attacks against Kelly Ayotte on radio and television. Today, Kelly Ayotte began airing a response to Binnie’s false attacks in which her campaign points to the liberal positions Binnie has taken on important issues facing our country.

Gatsas said he got to know Ayotte when she was attorney general and he was a state senator. He said that what he saw of her work in Concord was enough for her to win his support in the five-way GOP primary race.
